Little India Walking Trail (with Map!)

Colorful Chinese Villas in Little India

Eat and shop at:
  • Tekka Market and Mustafa Shopping Centre, City Square Mall
Plan your visit early in the morning and have your breakfast at the Tekka market's food court. For dinner the must visit experience would be the Kebabs and Curries rooftop restaurant at the top of Mustafa Centre!

Get to know more about the Indian community in Singapore:

Places of worship:

-Hindu temples:
  • Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple
  • Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple
  • Sri Vadhapathira Kaliamman Temple
-Chinese Temples:
  • Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple
  • Leong San See Temple- dedicated to Guan Yin(Goddess of Mercy)
Good to know : the busiest day of the week is Sunday here, so expect a big crowd and be more vigilant to your surroundings while walking around. :)
According to your individual interests, you can either start your walk from the Little India MRT station or from Farrer park MRT station

On the map below, Farrer Park MRT station (A) has been given as a starting point which is just a stone's throw away from two Buddhist (E,C) and two Hindu temples(B,D). Also, City Square Mall and Mustafa Center can be found near this station.

Tekka Market, Indian Heritage Centre (@Cambell Lane) and the Sri Veerama Kaliamman Tempe is nearer to the Little India MRT station.

Click the markers on the map for more information.
